five years later, still in good condition (with occasional use, a few days a year). just what you need for light hiking
Used for 1 week on a bike trip. No worries about the product quality, light and easily transportable. However, we slept very badly on it. The second mattress we brought, a 2 cm thick self-inflating Decathlon mattress that is over 10 years old, was much more comfortable. On this model, you can feel the tubes even when you are careful with the inflation, we were cold with it even at the end of June. I will give it a second chance with a foam mattress on top to see if it is better.
A successful purchase. It worked well on bikepacking.
Small enough to take everywhere, very light, easy to inflate, very comfortable!!!
I tried it in a bivouac, so far all ok. Positive experience. It takes a bit of practice to fold it.
good value for money
The sleeping pad is very comfortable to sleep on. It is a little harder to get into the original packaging. It takes a little fiddling with it. I can't judge the thermal insulation because it was only used in the summer.
Really good mattress, I use it in a hammock where thanks to many chambers it fits well to the bend of the hammock. The length is also a big plus - it's hard to find such a long mattress at a good price. And the size after folding is a huge plus, it takes up very little space which is very important on bike trips :)
A real inflatable mat does its job perfectly. Even though I put a mat underneath it in cold weather, it still draws cold air from underneath, but that's okay :)
The product does not take up space and is easy to inflate and return to its original state, making it ideal for warm weather. If it is to be used in winter months, you should definitely use a base.

It is lightweight, easy to pack and provides good insulation from the ground, which has proven itself in all conditions, especially in the mountains. How to choose the size of your mt500 mattress
This model is available in L and XL version. The difference between the 2 sizes on the length (180 cm for the L; 195 Cm for the XL) and width (52 cm for size L; 60 cm for the XL).To choose the mattress that best suits you, you must consider your stature, but not just that. Your preference and/or your preference for space around your shoulders should also be considered. So, even if you are 1.75 cm, you will prefer the XL!
Tips for sleeping well on your mattress

The R-Value is a measure of the thermal insulation. It measures the ability of a mattress to retain or prevent heat from escaping from a warm body (human body) to a cold floor.The higher the R-Value, the better the insulation of the mattress.Please note that the R-Values can be added; this means that you can use two mattresses and add their R-Values.All our mattresses are tested to standard ASTM F3340-18.
