Roomy comfortable and hard-wearing. Loads of little pockets, fits into Ryanair and Easyjet 'large cabin baggage' allowance. Built in packing cubes make it easy to seperate your stuff.

I used this bag as my only bag for a 10 month backpacking trip around Latin America. It worked great, none of the zips or compartments broke and I was able to take it on flights without paying for luggage. Really impressed by it

This is definitely not a lightweight backpack, but it's the perfect size for an airplane carryon and maximises space well. When filled it can get quite heavy, but it distributed weight well so you don't get back pain. Fit: I'm 5'6 with a longish torso and the hip belt fit me okay, but it would fit awkwardly on someone shorter than me. Durability: I've used this on 2 trips so far and it's in great condition - the main shell is sleek and waterproof. Only downside is that the stretchy side pockets get permanently stretched out easily, the elastic isn't the highest quality and perhaps it should have had a cinch instead. The interior mesh for the bag's compartments seem good quality and durable though. Design: I LOVE the clamshell design, it's why I got this over others - excellent for organising and easily accessing what you need. The top easy-access compartment by the handle is a great idea, but it's quite small. I would have liked to see more pockets. Eg one hip strap has one small stretchy pocket, but the other has nothing. There's a small mesh zip pocket on one compartment inside but there could have been more. If you're carrying 40L you're going to have bits and bobs that should be easy access without opening the whole bag up and unzipping a main compartment to rummage in your own packing cubes.

We were looking for a bag to carry our athletics equipment to training and competitions. The bag needed to be large enough to carry shoes, kit, drinks, foam rollers, and various other pieces of equipment. This bag is just perfect! Lots of clever compartments, so much space it’s amazing, and comfortable to carry. We’ve had a few people complimenting the look and asking where we got it. Only had it a few weeks but no signs of wear and tear so far. Love it, and totally recommend it!

I used this for a trip from London to Malaga and Granada. I could fit my clothes, computer and shaving kit bag into this backpack. The backpack was comfortable for me (61 year old male). It fit in the overhead compartment on British Airways and was easier than the asymmetric load of pulling a trolley bag.

You can manage to fit in trail shoes in the small compartment (size 9) and still have plenty of space for clothes, etc. Very comfortable to carry.

Even completely full it is very manageable and I'm really pleased with it.

I used this backpack went travelling around Europe for a week. It is one of the few backpacks that is the allowable size to go in cabin / aircraft, and is both a backpack and opens like a suitcase. Lots of useful compartments, not too heavy, lots of useful pockets. Would highly recommend.

I got this backpack for city travelling and short weekends for whichs its fantastic. I was away last week for a stag weekend and on the day of departure I had a couple of hours free so decided to run up and down Snowdon. This was the only bag I had with me on the trip and whilst I know it's not designed for running it was great! It didn't leak, the straps stayed comfy. Well worth the money.
