First cat of this type, quite satisfied.
I wanted underpants that I could also use during evenings at the refuge during my GR20... but since they are very transparent, they will just be under the pants....too bad, it was a good product...
Very warm and comfortable
Bought for winter hikes, these MT500 merino wool leggings are a real success. They are warm without being too thick, breathable and super comfortable to wear all day. They remain effective even when sweating and do not retain odors, which is ideal for multi-day treks. The cut is well-fitting without being too tight. A must-have for winter, I recommend them without hesitation!
Cool leggings, but as others have already written, the elastic in the waist is disproportionately short in circumference, which makes them very tight. As for thermals, of course they will work as insulation under trousers. Worn alone, let's say on sunny days, in temperatures from 15 degrees Celsius upwards, with some light walking, they should be OK
Warm and breathable at the same time, perfect under pants in cold weather or in pajamas during a trek... and the value for money for merino remains unbeatable!
Used only for "hanging out" in the evenings in hostels, shelters or campsites, it quickly developed holes in the buttocks. A little disappointed then, but I mended it and I can still use it.
Being convinced by merino wool, I bought these leggings on the advice of a friend. I use them under pants or tights in the winter to have an extra layer and be warm. The only downside is that although I take care of them and only wash them in the wool cycle, the elastic wears out faster. This doesn't stop me from continuing to wear them for the moment. Maybe review the elastic?
Ideal as a base layer for skiing in very cold weather or for hanging out in a refuge in the evening
Very warm leggings while allowing the body to breathe. I recommend for hiking or going on the slopes.
What's good: warm merino, machine washable and quick drying, great for skiing, does the job. What I didn't like: the design isn't the most appealing, the seam is in a strange place compared to other underwear (crossed at the thigh), it could be cheaper, I'll be curious to see how durable it will be.

Good value for money, available immediately - these are big advantages :) Rather thinner - they are not very warm - for me this is an advantage.
Very comfortable leggings that keep you warm (used under hiking pants as well as jeans). Used for a month so haven't had time to test the resistance, the merino wool composition means you don't have to wash it too often. I took a size above my usual size because the elasticated waist is a little tight for me
Top comfort for these leggings

We only use wool from Merino sheep raised on farms in South Africa that do not practise mulesing. We decided to build a partnership with a group of breeders (Konsortium Merino) to guarantee respect for animal welfare. We have full traceability which allows us to guarantee the origin of the wool.More information: visit our website
After any physical effort that involves a lot of perspiration, wool helps to preserve the body temperature while synthetic fabrics cause the temperature to drop faster. The unpleasant cooling or Inchfreezing effectInch is therefore reduced by the merino wool.
For a softer feel, wash your tights before first use.
We recommend that you machine wash your Merino wool tights at 30° on a normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. Dry flat. NEVER tumble dry.For more information: https://support.decathlon.co.uk/how-to-maintain-a-merino-wool-garment
