Question:
I'm confused about the torso lengths for this?
Answer:
When choosing the size of a hiking backpack, it’s important to take into account your body shape. The backpack size should be adapted to your back. It’s measured from the base of your neck to your hips and the grip of the stomach strap should be comfortable on your hips. How to accurately measure your torso for optimal backpack fit? To ascertain this crucial measurement, enlist the help of a friend and have a pliable tape measure on hand. Bend your head forward and locate the bony protrusion where your shoulder slope meets your neck—the 7th cervical (C7) vertebra, marking the top of your torso length. On either side of your body, run your hands down the ribcage to the apex of your hip bones (known as the iliac crest). Align your index fingers forward and your thumbs backward, creating an imaginary line between them. The point on your lumbar region where this line intersects is the base of your torso measurement. Maintain an upright posture, and ask your friend to measure the distance between the C7 and the imaginary line formed by your thumbs. This measurement constitutes your torso length.

Meets my expectations
big pains in the hips due to the frame at this level. It is extremely uncomfortable. After several days I end up hardly feeling it anymore but the first few days... ouch. After that I find the side pockets too small, I can't put my bottles in them. It is a little too small to go on your own. The advantages: light, ergonomic, various practical pockets, water pocket compartment. Front pockets large enough to hold a smartphone, wallet, papers. Robust and compressible thanks to the different straps. Back ventilation system with the net is great! That said, if I had to do it again I would choose a slightly larger model with reinforcements on the hips (the pain is atrocious XD)
Hello, Since you are asking me to give my opinion on my purchase, here it is. I wanted to give my husband a hiking backpack. So I bought this bag after consulting the salesperson. My husband was delighted with this gift but after 2 hikes finding it not adapted enough to his use he looked on the internet for additional information. He was disappointed when he realized that it was a model for women. Since then, he has not used it anymore. So here I am with my husband without a bag and a bag without a user. And two dissatisfied customers.
very practical to use
Bought this bag to CBL 3 days 2 night hike. Had 14kg of camping supplies, toiletries, snacks and clothing. Quite a good choice for beginners at a affordable price compare to expensive brand. Comfortable carrying it, shoulder pads were wide enough, less pain
Versatile, several types of use, very good qualities
Took it with me on two long-distance hikes. Simply great! Had a different backpack before. Wouldn't change it. Perfect to use. Large packing opening...
Well thought out bag, full of storage
Backpack purchased for my daughter (18 years old). Opinion based on her experience. It has already proven itself at scout camps and a raid in difficult weather conditions. Relatively light, can be precisely adjusted. Practical solutions and numerous pockets and chambers.
Very good product
Very good product, practical and comfortable
I walked 26 days with this bag and was delighted with all the possible adjustments, the compartments.
I went with him on an eight-day crossing of the Šar Plains and I liked him. Adequate and well-chosen selection of pockets, I especially appreciated the bottle pocket, which I can pull out at any time while walking, the camel back option. Great pulling of the contents of the backpack and perfectly and quickly accessible all the things inside. Lightweight, quite small, but everything I needed fit in it. I also use it for day hikes.
great 4 day hike, no back pain
Perfect

Air design
As with the MT900 UL line, the MT500 AIR range has a ventilated back structure with mesh fabric (net fabric) that helps the back to breathe and dries quickly. Rigidity is guaranteed by a reinforced frame. The back is adjustable with a release strap that’s easy and quick to use.

Recommended carry weight
According to the project for which this backpack was designed, we recommend you don’t load it above 15 kg. Then you can benefit from all its features. Moreover, it’s not recommended to carry a load greater than 20-25% of your own weight and put too much pressure on your back.
How to pack a backpack?
Put your bedding at the bottom. Put heavy gear (tent, camp stove, food) near your back. Store your clothing around it. A groundsheet or tent can be placed under the flap or under the bag if there isn't room inside. Keep your waterproof jacket and fleece to hand. Place small items for daily use (sun cream, map, glasses etc.) in the pockets. The water bladder can be placed in the compartment provided down the back.
How to use the multi-use straps?
The new range of MT500 AIR and MT900 UL bags has two straps with open aluminium buckles (on the lower part of the bag). These straps let you hook on a tent or mattress under the bag or on the barrel. If not in use, these straps can be stored (by pushing them inside) in the hidden pocket intended for this or detached and used elsewhere with the lark's head knot buckle.
Female body shape
Our women's models are adapted to their body shape (chest and hips) with a more open shoulder strap shape and a higher fitted belt for greater comfort and freedom of movement.
