ideal for a walk

very practical

icon-circle-checkmark verified purchase

The running belt is more than enough for easier routes, you can easily fit a mobile phone and keys, a water bottle and some gel in there. It's perfect for minimalist running, if you want to take a lot, you should choose a running vest. I recommend the product.

Very good

I really liked the product, it delivers what it promises! 10/10

Alright

Very light, used for a marathon, I barely felt it and was able to put everything I wanted in it

Nice and stable belt

Very stable and capacious belt. It has many compartments and the possibility of attaching a starting number. You can run with a soft flask. Quite expensive, but probably worth it.

Unfortunately, it doesn't hold up when running and goes uphill towards the belly.

Belt to reuse!

I just tested this belt on a 21 km trail. Hiking poles on the back, 500ml Decathlon flask on the front and bib on the front as well. The belt is light and has a nice design. However, it is poorly designed (note that I am not in the habit of criticizing Decathlon products). I explain my negative opinion: when you put on a bib, access to the flask is complicated, even impossible! Removing the poles is complicated and you waste time. But the worst thing is the 500ml flask which just bounces around at the bottom of your stomach when going downhill. I had to put it aside because it hurt so much above my genitals! This belt really should have been better designed before offering it for sale.

Good belt for light use.

The side elastics don't stay in place when tightened (they loosen again). It's a comfortable belt with good compartments. If you put poles in the belt, the back pocket is limited (hard to carry a soft pack). I usually use it for training and short races that don't require carrying much.

Runs big for me

I usually wear S (1.72 for 64kg) and I had to redo stitches to shrink it despite having taken the xs/s version. By tightening the elastics, the eyelets end up tearing and also going through the sewing box. (I have been using it for 2 years)

great accessory

comfortable

Optimized

adjustable belt, space for two 250ml flasks, a place for a large mobile phone, space to store the car key, supplies, in short, plenty of space in a minimum of space and for running with peace of mind.

Revelation!

The best of my running belts. It is stable, does not move. You can put soft flasks and they are also stable, do not interfere with running. You can also easily fit a phone and a bar. I also take an rcr foil and there is also room for it.

Choosing your size

Measure hip circumference at the waist:XS/S: approximately 29.5-34 inches (75-86 cm)M/L: approximately 34-38.5 inches (86-98 cm)XL/XXL: approximately 38.5-45 inches (98-115 cm)

This is a trail running hydration belt that prioritises comfort:

For ultimate running comfort, our designers created a slip-on belt, like shorts—or over your shorts. It's stable and easily adjustable mid-run with our innovative tightening system.

How to load up your trail running belt

Slip the belt on like shorts! Adjust the side tightening systems for a perfect fit. Secure your phone in the front zip pocket. Stow a 500ml flask in the front mesh pocket and gels/bars in the side pockets. Folded poles attach to the back elastics. Fasten your race number at the front for competitions.

Enjoy your trail runs under the sun:

Carrying essentials in a belt frees up your back, enhancing comfort, especially in hot weather. With 500ml of hydration—about an hour of running time—this belt suits most average runs. Folding pole attachments and a race number holder make it ideal for competitive events.

Here is some advice on making the most of your trail running belt:

For enhanced stability, wear the belt 'low on the waist,' resting on your hips. The pull-tab pockets simplify gear retrieval. If poles are attached, rotate the belt for easy access. Experience the difference!

Damien, the trail running product manager at kiprun, gives an account of how the light trail running belt was designed

InchWe wanted to offer a comfortable solution for trail runners who run without a backpack. The belt provides excellent support, while also freeing up the back. The idea was to have a compact product at the waist and we used the feedback of our customers to perfect the tightening system. In my opinion, it is a good-looking product and the testers loved the innovative features of the tightening system. If you always follow convention, nothing changes. Inch

Product testing

aT KIPRUN, our products are tested by a panel of users under the real-life conditions they were designed for. These tests are organised and supervised by a team of engineers dedicated to the task.
