How would this jacket be for golf Forclaz Men's 3-in-1 Waterproof Travel Backpacking Jacket or do you suggest a different jacket?
Answer:
It depends on the weather you are playing in. This is a very warm jacket so I would only recommend it for golf if you are playing in cold and rainy conditions. Our MH900 Lightweight Windproof Jacket is a light windbreaker that would work well if it isn't super cold, or any of our lighter fleeces.

I had the predecessor of this jacket for years and was very satisfied 🌙 I still use the inner jacket today 😊 The current successor model is just as great and the revised zipper technology is simply great 👍👌😊 I can only recommend it 😊
Comfortable and practical. Durable too.
Very good clothing, the modularity is good, the pockets are spacious and well waterproof, I have been walking to work for two days in the pouring rain and not the slightest trace of water. Used this weekend in the Catalan Pyrenees at 1200 m in a third layer in a static way at the bivouac and despite the 3 degrees Celsius very warm. The next day during the walk without the down jacket impeccable, the opening under the arms allows excellent ventilation. For the moment, the only downside is at the level of the press studs which fix the down jacket to the windbreaker at the end of the sleeves which come loose if you remove your arm without paying attention. apart from that I am very satisfied with the product
The waterproofing lasted for about 6 months in fairly regular rain in Glasgow. That's okay because you can just refresh the proofing. For the money I think it's pretty warm, and being able to use the inner synthetic-down layer is really nice, but once it goes below 5° you're freezing your backside off. Overall lasted for over a year with regular reproofing, and no issues with stitching or anything. Good jacket for the money.

Jacket bought to wear in town Very good product and so far no problem. The pros: • Adjustable hood to adapt it to the head • Comfortable without hindering movements • Very warm jacket with its lining • Many pockets • The neck is well covered with the top of the jacket which goes up quite high The cons: • When the lining is removed the fasteners are a little annoying and come out of the sleeves • A little doubt about the zipper which seems thin compared to the size of the jacket (to have in the long term)

Really well made, holds air very well, even using it to go scootering on these cold days it doesn't get cold and insulates well. When used in the mountains it's really too warm to use in this season.
The sleeves of the inner tunic are attached to the jacket, at the level of the cuffs, only by 2 staples. Thus, when the jacket is taken off, the staples are automatically undone and the tunic comes out, which is annoying. In another brand, the tunic was secured, apart from the staples, by a collar with a collar, which made it more difficult to remove.
Very warm and breathable. I already had two sets at home (with two children), but unexpectedly found that they were sold out after the season, so I bought another set for myself.

3-in-1 concept for adapting to every situation
With its “3-in-1” system, the jacket is ideal for cold conditions (down to -10°C) as well as hot weather trips, as you can leave the inner layer at home, taking only the rain coat. You can also wear the inner fleece on its own as a mid-layer over a T-shirt. With just one jacket, you therefore get 3 options!
Sizing information
Standard cut. Inner volume lets you wear a second technical layer underneath, such as a microfleece top.
Adjustment
The hood is adjustable in height and depth thanks to an elastic drawcord. The storm-type hood is very enveloping and equipped with a preformed visor for maximum face protection.The bottom of the jacket is adjustable thanks to an elastic cord.The cuffs are adjustable using the rip-tabs.
Pocket system
2 hand pockets + 2 chest pockets. All pockets feature waterproof zips.2 zipped pockets on the inner jacket.
Removable padded jacket
The inner padded jacket is easy and quick to remove, thanks to a zip system. It can be worn alone and has 2 hand pockets, as well as a secure inside pocket.
