About this item:
- This backpack is made for multiple days hiking or trekking in autonomy. You can carry everything you need to camp, drink and eat on your back with comfort.
- The MT500 AIR only weighs 3.7 lbs and can contain a total volume of 50 liters which we recommend for a trip over 2 weeks long. The top of the bag is adjustable and can hold an extral 10 liters of volume.
- This backpack has plenty of features if you are looking for a technical option at a fair price: AIR concept back ventilation, rain cover, water bottle holder, hiking poles holder, 8 pockets and a compartment for a water bladder for easy hydration.

Is the fit - the suspension - adjustable? I'm 6-2

We're happy to inform you that the torso length of the backpack is indeed adjustable to accommodate different body sizes, including yours at 6'2". To ensure a comfortable fit, it's essential to measure your torso length accurately. This measurement is the distance between your 7th vertebra (the prominent bone at the base of your neck) and your ilium (the top of your hip bones). Our backpack's adjustable torso length ranges from a minimum of 39 cm (15 inches) to a maximum of 51 cm (20 inches). Additionally, the waistband of the backpack is also adjustable to provide a snug fit around your waist. The waistband adjustment ranges from a minimum of 79 cm (31 inches) to a maximum of 136 cm (54 inches). Furthermore, the back panel of the backpack is adjustable with a release strap, making it easy and quick to customize the fit according to your preferences and body size. For the most comfortable and personalized fit, we recommend measuring your torso length and waist size using the provided guidelines before making your selection.

Practical and comfortable
Maximum satisfaction
Fantastic backpack, used in the summer to go on a 150km trek divided into 7 days. I had doubts and thought that it would be so capacious, but maximum comfort and I never really felt the backpack as something annoying. Fantastic fit, very well designed night compartment. Excellent value for money. IF you are looking for a trekking backpack without spending a fortune buy this and you won't regret it
The bag looks spacious but I can't fit the electronic items I want in it. I am in search and rescue and under difficult conditions it doesn't hold much because it is awkwardly shaped like various thermal search devices. However, it can hold things like panties, sweaters, and pants. There is no problem there but it doesn't really work for me unfortunately.

For me, the compromise between lightness, easy access to things - numerous pockets and comfort. The adjustment is simple and effective. And I like the tight mesh back. Too bad for the choice of colors which are not really to my taste. I would have preferred to have the choice between several colors.

The essential and ideal bag for hiking over several days, it is light but has a large capacity.
Sac qui m’accompagne depuis plus d’un an sur des treks, bivouacs, voyages… Il possède un litrage suffisant pour les personnes qui souhaitent faire du bivouac sans matériel ultra light. Le dos filet ne semble pas s’être dégradé avec l’usage. Seul petit bémol, la taille de certains clips qui sont un peu petits, il faut donc très bien les positionner pour pouvoir les clipser.

Capacity
The bag has a 50 L capacity with an extra 10 L extension capability. The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method. we use small balls to fill the main compartment as well as each pocket. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container in order to determine the equivalent volume in liters, with a margin of error of just a few %.

Air design
As with the MT900 UL line, the MT500 AIR range has a ventilated back structure with mesh fabric (net fabric) that helps the back to breathe and dries quickly. Rigidity is guaranteed by a reinforced frame. The back is adjustable with a release strap that’s easy and quick to use.

Recommended carry weight
According to the project for which this backpack was designed, we recommend you don’t load it above 33 lbs. Then you can benefit from all its features. Moreover, it’s not recommended to carry a load greater than 20-25% of your own weight and put too much pressure on your back.
How to pack a backpack?
Put your bedding at the bottom. Put heavy gear (tent, camp stove, food) near your back. Store your clothing around it. A groundsheet or tent can be placed under the flap or under the bag if there isn't room inside. Keep your waterproof jacket and fleece to hand. Place small items for daily use (sun cream, map, glasses etc.) in the pockets. The water bladder can be placed in the compartment provided down the back.
How to use the multi-use straps?
The new range of MT500 AIR and MT900 UL bags has two straps with open aluminum buckles (on the lower part of the bag). These straps let you hook on a tent or mattress under the bag or on the barrel. If not in use, these straps can be stored (by pushing them inside) in the hidden pocket intended for this or detached and used elsewhere with the lark's head knot buckle.
