Less than a year of daily use in the city (only on tarmac), the soles were destroyed on the sides in the middle of each shoe.
Perfect
I must admit that I haven't tested them hiking... but for everyday work (in a shop or bakery) I feel good about them but they remain very comfortable and solid. I don't slip at all with them even though sometimes everything would be fine, so I can trust them. Great product for the price, I totally recommend them! (You should know that I bought some insoles from Decathlon to improve the comfort a little)
These are great walking shoes for the price.
Fits, comfortable
I want them for fishing. They have a good grip and are lightweight, providing a good value for the money.
I bought these for my children for Easter, for a partial ascent to Moncayo at 2314m. I didn't want to touch the snow, lots of terrain and stones, but they were brave enough. One of them was wearing these shoes and came back with perfect, dry feet after 4km in snow at -5 degrees.

How is the durability and solidity of the nh50 low hiking boots determined?
Laboratory tests were conducted to test the following elements: tearing eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion resistance of outsole and upper components, accelerated ageing. These tests allow us to improve the quality of our products and prevent premature wear of our hiking shoes.
What makes the nh50 low boots so comfortable?
Our nature hiking boots promise one thing, and that’s heightened comfort for the wearer. to this end, we have included different ingredients in this boot to take care of your feet such as the EVA foam insole (flexible thermoplastic) and the heel pad in the same material.We have also made the insole removable for greater hygiene (washing possible).
What gives the soles of the nh50 low hiking boots so much grip on hiking trails?
The sole’s design is the result of long research carried out in our labs. It is composed of a specific rubber formula which optimises grip and traction. We are always looking for the best solution to progress on loose or mineral (forest or coastal) walking trails.When used on roads, this can lead to the premature wear of your boots and cause discomfort. They are not suitable for high mountain walking.

Our Decathlon Sportslab laboratory, based in Lille, also contributes to the innovation and development of our Quechua products. It brings together 4 themes, each with their own area and technological tools:- Body shape (mainly thanks to 3D analysis);- Movement science;- Thermal comfort (with its four climatic chambers);- Natural episodes and sensory.This hiking boot has been tested for its walking comfort.
