Tell me, I'm a woman, it stings me a little, so I have to wear a leotard underneath in more delicate areas, but it also stings my arm a little. It's not bad anyway, but somehow one eye managed to run up.
I use it for hiking, winter running workouts, and just everyday wear. This is my second purchase and it is definitely one of the best base layers I have ever owned.
I just finished the Western Mountains. It was very comfortable as a base layer while moving forward, and it became even softer after washing it once.
Soft and skin-friendly, antibacterial and deodorizing
The wool component may be itchy but it is really warm, so it is a must-have when traveling to places with ice and snow.
It bites and is not comfortable to wear. It also gets smelly rather quickly, that shouldn't happen with Merino...
Bought for my dad to wear when growing vegetables in winter, very satisfied.
Super handsome, looks very stylish when you wear it. If you make your arms thicker, you will look like a polite scum.
Very warm T-shirt with excellent sweat wicking. In the middle of winter and during exercise, I don't need to wear an extra fleece. The zip allows the collar to be ventilated. The Merino weave also allows it to be worn in mild temperatures, in the mid-season for example.
It works great as a sweatband on the bike. Off it too. It doesn't absorb odors, keeps its shape, doesn't pill, and has for three years of use. Plus, a stand-up collar with a zipper for colder days.
Excellent product 👍 comfortable to wear, the zip allows you to open it in case of heat and need. Good evacuation of perspiration and good heat retention. Used for cycling and alpine hiking at over 2500 with snow, very good sensations. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Reduction of the freezing effect
After exercise and sweating heavily, Merino wool prevents evaporation helping to maintain body temperature by absorbing the majority of the body's moisture. This therefore reduces any unpleasant chilling effect.Conversely, a synthetic material lets the body temperature go back down again faster.
Tip before use
For a softer feel, wash your t-shirt before first use.
How to wash your t-shirt made with merino wool?

Product testing
In November 2018, 8 trekkers (4 men and 4 women) and part of the Forclaz design team tested this T-shirt for four days in the Southern French Alps (Lus La Croix Haute). You can expect wind, rain, a bit of snow, a bivouac... and a lot of fun! We were then able to make the final modifications and validate it for mountain trekking use.
