the pants fulfill their role, ideal for spring/autumn hikes. However, for people with large thighs who want to additionally wear long thermal underwear underneath, they may be slightly uncomfortable, but not enough to interfere with hiking. My opinion 8/10
more colors could appear
The trousers have proven themselves in temperatures from 0 to 15C (for now). A week ago I was in the Tatras, the trousers were the 2nd layer. Cool vents on the sides - in higher temperatures the legs did not overheat (thermoactive leggings underneath). Despite walking in deep snow (sometimes up to half a thigh), and frequent bending on the descent - they did not get wet! Comfortable throughout the trip. The extensions on the heel and the hook at the front replaced the protectors quite well.
They perform perfectly. Practical and comfortable
I bought one and later a second. Although the water-repellent effect doesn't last, it's good for comfort, but the waistband is too long and can't be cut without losing one of its great features: the gaiter. I wish they were sold with straps, because since they're elastic, they tend to slide down until you can see the bottom of the bag, but there aren't many better ones on the market.
Lightweight and comfortable walking trousers. Provides freedom of movement thanks to its flexible structure. It has a comfortable and breathable fabric for long walks. Pocket details are also very useful.

On sale, quality trekking pants that do the job very well. Very well designed. I used them for snowshoeing and they were perfect in every way: comfort, warmth, flexibility.

These are excellent pants. They're durable, very flexible, lightweight, and the leg openings for cooling are great. Perfect for a wide range of temperatures. I haven't needed a thermal layer down to temperatures below 5°C, and in hot weather they're comfortable up to 24-25°C.

These trousers have been designed with 2 different components:- a very durable fabric (277 g/m²) on the areas that need protection from abrasion (buttocks, knees and the front of the lower leg); - a durable (198 g/m2) and stretchy fabric (12% elastane) on the rest of the trousers provides you with great freedom of movement.
What can be said about the men’s mt900 trousers’ water-repellent features?
These MT900 trousers are water-repellent. They allow water to slide off the surface of the fabric. Please note, this does not mean WATERPROOF. The water repellency prevents the trousers from getting wet too quickly. However, this won’t be enough to keep you dry if you’re in steady rain. To do this, you will need a pair of over-trousers like the MT500 model (ref.8736465).Water repellency can be reactivated using a reactivating water repellent spray (ref. 8800346).
What accessories come with the mt900 trekking trousers?
The MT900 trekking trousers are equipped with several pockets:- 2 zipped hand pockets;- two zipped thigh pockets;- 1 zipped back pocket.A hook at the bottom of each trouser leg allows you to hook your trousers over your boots so that you can prevent stones and snow from getting inside. 2 ventilation zips on the sides to improve air circulation. The belt supplied with the trousers can also be used as a tightening strap for your equipment.
What is the cut of the mt900 trousers?
These trousers have a snug, close-fitting cut. The use of fabric with two-way stretch gives perfect ease of movement. If you prefer a looser fit trouser, choose one size up from your usual size.
