Also great for running

I ran two 100km ultras in them. My feet are like new after that. The new pair is already waiting for the next ultramarathons.

They keep the foot warm and dry. Also used on excursions with deep snow and they did their job. Only when we stopped in a bivouac did the feet get cold, but due to lack of movement. At the end of the excursion, after about 6 hours the feet were dry. Also used for walks in the valley and there was transpiration even in warmer weather. Aesthetically beautiful, comfortable, right size. I think I'll buy the taller model

Wool sock

Very good product. Well adapted and comfortable

Hot

Comfortable and warm for a day of snowshoeing in the snow

Additional Product Information

Composition

Socks: 8.0% Polypropylene, 7.0% Polyester, 69.0% Polyamide, 3.0% Elastane, 13.0% Wool

Pack of 2 pairs

This model is sold in packs of 2 pairs of socks of the same color.

Reducing the risk of chafing

We have selected a technical yarn with a specific coating (PTFE) at the heel and toe to reduce rubbing and therefore the risk of blisters. In no circumstances do these socks provide 100% protection from blisters. Blisters usually appear when our skin is weakened by chafing, generally caused by socks, shoes or foreign bodies. Humidity also plays an important role as it weakens our skin.

Choosing the height of your socks

We offer 3 lengths of hiking socks. “Short/low” goes slightly above the shoes but under the ankles. “Medium/mid” protect your ankles and stop just above them. These 2 lengths are sized to be worn with low shoes. “Tall/high” are perfect to wear with high-top hiking shoes as they stop just below the calf.

How to correctly select hiking socks

Each of our sock sizes fits 4 shoes sizes (3/5, 6/8, 9/12, 13/15). The benefit of the elastane qualities in our socks is that they adapt well to your foot and stay in place. We all have different size feet, in length, proportion and volume: that's why it’s important to try on your socks before going hiking

Warranty

Our hiking socks are guaranteed for 2 years.

Product testing

All our socks are tested in the lab and in the field to validate the following: toxicology, UV resistance, resistance to abrasion, accelerated ageing and resistance to repeated washing. At the foot of the Mont Blanc, in France, our design team imagines, draws and designs Quechua socks. We hit as many footpaths as possible, in all weathers, with other hikers, to check their comfort and durability
