what I was looking for
I really like this bag, I use it as a city backpack. It is comfortable for everyday use, it is easy to pack. I bought it in ocher yellow because only this color had a zipper on the main compartment.
The backpack is great, I have a smaller 10L blue one and a 17L camouflage one, it's waterproof, has good support, fits a laptop and other small things. It's just a little harder to wash. My only regret is that they don't have more neutral colors. Quechua normally have a lot of bright colors, and their only neutrals are black and gray. If they had beige it would be great.

I received the backpack yesterday. It looks nice, is light and comfortable. The only thing that disappoints me is the color: based on the pictures, I expected a brighter yellow.
This backpack model is in our family in 3 different colors and this is the 4th piece, I would still forgive the change in material, but overall it feels like a cheap substitute. The zipper on the main pocket is missing and one pocket inside, which I normally use for a laptop stand, and the strings on the zippers are also pretty frayed. The color is nice. Otherwise, this version is a big disappointment. It will probably satisfy a customer who has no comparison.

The components of the bag are water-repellent so that you can temporarily continue walking/hiking in light rain. Caution: this backpack is not watertight/waterproof and it does not have a rain cover. How is the volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method: we fill the main compartment, as well as each pocket, with little balls. We then empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in litres.

How to fill your backpack?
Put heavy belongings on the bottom. Store your clothing around these items. Keep your waterproof jacket and/or sweater to hand. Place small items that you use every day (sun cream, map, glasses, etc.) in the pockets. The flask can be placed in the side pockets designed for this.
Tested for optimal durability
We carry out several laboratory tests to validate the bag's components: fabric, buckles, straps, foam, zips. For example, for a fabric, we test the resistance to abrasion and tearing, colour fastness when exposed to UV light and washing, as well as waterproofing. We also carry out tests to check assembly durability with the help of a dummy which reproduces a hiker’s movements to show several years of wear on the bag.
Product testing
It’s in France, at the foot of Mont Blanc, that our design team conceives, designs and creates Quechua products. We test them in the field with other hikers to make sure that they are comfortable and durable. Brittany, Corsica, Reunion Island, etc. We go to as many different places as possible, in all weather conditions.
