After using it for more than a year, the waterproof coating peeled off within ten times of wearing it. It is really not durable.

Almost perfect. I took this on long hikes with camera gear and the bag is comfortable, you can arrange it so that there is good ventilation between the bag and one's back - reduced sweating, an you can get a day's worth of stuff in there. The water bottle holders are very good too. The bag has a stiff piece of plastic in it that sort of functions like a frame. Nice touch that! There are a couple of things that could be changed that would make this bag closer to perfect. If you are listening Decathalon: 1) The pockets on the belt are slightly too small. They fit a granola bar and keys just fine, but not most phones. Increasing the size a little would be excellent. 2) The waste straps, not the belt part, the straps, are slightly too thin. Making those wider would make the belt more comfortable / less chafing. I note that other manufacturers have the same issue. 3) I don't get the partial side zipping on the back. Have both sides come down to the same level. It might be slightly less secure, but it will make it easier to get things in and out. 4) Your rain cover doesn't really work for this bag. Make a better one. 5) I personally like two entrances to the main area of a bag. I can put different things in different areas.

I went to the mountains and forgot my backpack at home, I bought this thinking it would be just a one-time trip. The backpack has already served me for another trip and has replaced my main one.
