Meets my needs
Good light windbreaker
Tried out here so far. Will take it to Bali. Design could be a bit better. As for colors. Price okay. Someone who wants it for every day, a bit fashionable, might choose another brand.
Good item, comfortable, waterproof, light, several pockets
Versatile and practical, resistant to heavy rain, quick drying, air vents for breathability. Retains heat well
Waterproofing is there even after several hours in the rain, you stay dry
I've been waiting for a raincoat of this quality for a long time...
Got this as it has been recommended by numerous gear websites and is incredible! Have had it for over a year now and it has been seriously put to the test in driving rain and gale force winds many many times. The only way water gets in is up the sleeves because I use poles but the velcro strap helps with that and I stay so warm even in ice cold wind. Would 100% recommend :)
I own a piece from one of the older collections that I am happy with, unfortunately the zipper came undone after about 5 years. So I assumed that the newer version would fit me. Unfortunately, the sleeve seams in the armpits of this jacket are stuck, the pockets are high, and even though I bought a size larger, it was the same across my stomach as the older version, which was a size smaller.
Very high quality for 90€, great especially when you see the price of the competition for sometimes less quality, points to improve, in terms of colors and elastic/adjustment systems
I bought the jacket as a backup jacket for running and cycling and have been very happy with it so far.
Used for its real waterproofness! Its look and color, I recommend
Light, nice cut, fitted at the waist. Ventilation under the arms. As for me, the only thing that could be bigger is the hood.
The mh 500 I am pleasantly surprised by the waterproofness and lightness of the product, given that I do a lot of walking and it rains quite a lot where we live I am happy with my purchase....
Great jacket for hiking. Excellent water resistance, good breathability. It's a shame that it gets dirty easily, but that's more of a fault of use.

Cut
Slim fit with raglan sleeves and good stretch properties for plenty of freedom of movement during your hikes. A warm layer, such as a fleece or light padded jacket, can be worn underneath.

Membrane
The waterproof rating of a product depends on the following two main criteria: its component and its construction. This product was made with a membrane.This is a kind of very thin plastic film (polyurethane) that makes the component waterproof while remaining breathable. It has the advantage of being flexible, lightweight and breathable.
Layer design
3 layer design: The membrane is glued between the outer and inner fabric. We use it for durable and high-performing jackets
Component waterproofing
Laboratory tests are conducted to guarantee the waterproof rating of a component. To this end, the resistance of a fabric is measured by the height of a water column in mm (JIS 1092 standard).The higher the water pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. This product's component has a 25,000 mm waterproof rating and can withstand the pressure of a 25,000 mm water column. This is also equivalent to 25000 Schmerbers.
Water resistance of the jacket
We conduct laboratory tests that simulate rainfall scenarios in order to guarantee the jacket's waterproof rating. This garment has been validated in a shower test under 18 cm of rain for 2 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a mountain storm.
Breathability
Component breathability is measured by its thermal evaporative resistance (RET). This is its capacity to let water vapour generated by the body during physical activity escape and therefore avoid water accumulating on the skin. The lower the RET, the more breathable the fabric. RET ≤ 6: very breathable fabricRET ≤ 12: breathable fabricRET ≤ 20: not very breathable fabric This product was assessed at 6 RET
How to restore the water-repellent properties
A fabric is water repellent when it allows water slide over its surface without seeping in. The fabric does not soak up water and therefore remains lightweight and breathable. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment needs to be renewed during the lifetime of the garment. The water-repellent property can be reactivated by putting the jacket in the tumble dryer for 10 minutes on low heat.You can also use the waterproof spray (ref 8554908)
