whether you grow

I'm always surprised how much can fit in it. my older backpack was larger in volume, but this one was easier to pack and I can fit more things in it... the backpack is comfortable, so the old Vaude flew into service...

Professional

A very versatile bag. It can be packed so well that I would guess its capacity to be larger. Can also be used as a cabin bag.

solid, quite well thought out, inexpensive

A serious minus: the zipper to the main compartment is not even secured with a flap. When you put it on the ground, it immediately gets clogged with dirt, and moisture gets inside. Incomprehensible double adjustment straps, a completely unnecessary complication of the construction. So far, I haven't figured out what the meter-long ribbon sewn into the flap is supposed to be for, I suspect it's for wearing it as a bag without a backpack, but the ergonomics of such a solution are totally crap :) There is some QR code on the flap, no app reads it :D Well-thought-out pockets in the hip belt (a large phone fits snugly in the pocket opening).

The backpack is very practical and has several compartments, small and light. In particular, those on the belt are very large. In the one on the right, my iPhone 14 Pro Max fits comfortably, along with other things. It is smart to place the compartment for the hydration bag on the back outside of the backpack: this way it can be removed, put on and recharged easily without opening the backpack. The compartment for the water bottle on the left of the belt is convenient. You can also take it without taking off the backpack, but forget about putting it back: you will never be able to put the elastic band back on to secure it. There are also a lot of adjustments. However, the limited capacity of 25L does not allow you to use it fully. With just a few objects inside and in the front pocket (map holder) it is already full. If you then put the hydration bag there is even less space. In any case, when fully loaded it is not very comfortable due to the reduced padding of the shoulder straps and belt. The way it is designed it would be perfect for a day trip to the mountains, but the way it is made it is no good. With a bit of tinkering, perhaps in the height of summer you can use it for this purpose, but in winter it is practically impossible. In the end I used it to go to the beach this summer, but with a book, towel, mask, sunscreen and other small items it was already at the limit. This backpack should be at least 35-40L. There is another aspect that in my opinion denotes a "carelessness" in the design. The pocket on the hood has an internal lining, so the pocket does not take up the entire volume of the hood, but only a part of it. By filling the pocket to the maximum, there is still space in the hood that cannot be used in any way as it is not accessible. For this reason the pocket is much smaller and less usable than it seems. There is also another pocket under the hood, but by virtue of the above, both fill easily and quickly even with very few objects. Finally, in my opinion, €90 for this backpack seems excessive to me.

Great!

Great backpack for travel

I went to Japan for 7 days in autumn, and 3 days and 2 nights in a mountain hut was barely enough. Load a raincoat, rain pants, down jacket, thin coat, a change of clothes, sandals, and a 3-liter water bottle. You can also stuff 4 bags of instant noodles. What I like: ・You can take carry-on luggage on the plane. ・The smallest locker can be placed. ・It won’t be too obtrusive when walking back onto the street. ・Lots of storage. Separate water bottle pocket at waist. ・It feels light when you carry it on your back. ・Separate hydration bag compartment. ・The color is highly recognizable and durable. What I personally find inconvenient: ・The top flap bag has a small capacity and the zipper opening of the inner bag is small. ・Bilateral mouth straps have little stretchability. Thoughts: Great product, suitable for short-term trips abroad and mountaineering. I would consider buying a similar product with a size of 30 to 35 liters.

Perfect! I recommend…

Perfect! I recommend it for comfort and ergonomics

Straps could use a little more padding and when bag is full using some compartments is a little tricky as they can be a bit tight. Overall good bag so far.

Best small backpack I’ve ever owned

It’s only 25l but in fact it’s much more because of number of small and clever compartments. I could easily packed myself in for a week long city break. You can downsize it easily or extend it capacity when needed.Goes as carry on with no problems. Super comfortable with good ventilation back profile. Overall fantastic design!

Too expensive all at once

I was just about to get this backpack, which until last week was 7,500 rsd, its price has skyrocketed for no reason, hence the rating 3

Good - to Great ; Possibly 1-2 flaws

I downgraded from a 30L decathlon MH500 pacl (At 60cm, it was too high above my shoulders) The MH900 at 50cm is perfect. The 25L size is almost perfect, and I have everything I need for a long extended day hike packed inside the bag (my Waterproof, my rain trousers, first aid kit, food, 2L of water, gaiters, spare socks etc). The pockets are excellent - and the 500ml pocket for a 3rd water bottle is easy to reach (a big plus !!!) It feels well balanced on the back and hips My only concern is the Top Pocket (sometimes called the Brain) I dont think it effectively covers the top the main circular opening of the back pack. It looks like rain can get under this hood and will pool / puddle into the top circular opening I suppose if its raining that much, it would be time to use the inbuilt rain cover; but I can see a simple design change to the pack that would easily prevent this. Overall - excellent - and I'll write another review after using it in September
