Absolutely fantastic bag! It’s deceptive how much it actually holds.
Bought this as loads of pockets for bits. Have used when go swimming as keeps wet and dry seperate. On longer day hiking up scafell, it carried everything I needed and was comfortable. Also didn't make my back sweat loads like my previous pack did. Would definitely recommend.

Very good quality backpack. It has been used to transport some heavy loads and it is still as good as new.
I know this is supposed to be more of a hiking rucksack, but I actually brought it as a gift for my brother who started uni. The size is perfect to fit his laptop, all his books, his lunch and his water bottle. The colours are also super nice, it’s actually stylish aswell as practical. I’ve had decathlon bags before so know how good the quality is, I wouldn’t be surprised if this rucksack lasted him the whole time he’s at uni

Waterproofing
The components of the bag are water-repellent so that you can temporarily continue walking/hiking in light rain. Caution: this backpack is not watertight/waterproof and it does not have a rain cover. If you want to continue walking/hiking in the rain and protect your belongings, we recommend the following model: “20 to 40 L rain cover”, which can be viewed on our website, item reference 8734213.
How is volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method: we fill the main compartment, as well as each pocket, with little balls. Then, we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in litres.
How to adjust your backpack?
- Loosen all the straps (straps, belts, load adjuster straps), - Put on the backpack,- Tighten the shoulder straps,- Adjust the load adjuster straps as needed.
How to fill your backpack?
- Put your heavy items at the bottom. Pack your clothes around these items;- Keep your waterproof jacket and/or fleece within easy reach;- Place small items for the day (sun cream, map, glasses, etc.) in the pockets. ;- The flask can be placed in the side pockets designed for this.
Tested for optimal durability
We carry out several laboratory tests to validate the bag's components: fabric, buckles, straps, foam, zips. For example, for a fabric, we test resistance to abrasion and tearing, colour fastness when subject to UV light and washing, waterproofing. We also conduct tests to check the resistance of assembly using a dummy that reproduces the movements of a hiker to replicate several years of wear and tear on the bag.

We test them in the field with other hikers to make sure that they are comfortable and durable. This backpack has been tested and improved by hikers in different climatic conditions and different environments.
