Tried many camera bags, but this beats them all so far. Empty it’s light, but is well padded.
Needed a backpack camera bag. The images suggest a 50/50 split but isn’t quite right. The upper non camera section is smaller than shown. The dividers within the camera section are quite flimsy. Other aspects of the bag are fine (pockets etc). Not quite right for me so I returned the item next day. I’ll probably need to go and look for a more expensive better brand. Still love decathlon though great store!
I love this bag as it has so many compartments. Lovely and comfy and can't wait to use it with my camera for travels. Camera is in a nice and safe compartment.
The shoulder straps chafe the sides of my neck. Which means the straps are attached on the horizontal rather a diagonal to give freedom at the sides of the neck. . It might be due to the adjustments but if I loosen it off there's a three inch gap between the bag and the shoulder strap. I only received it today but will wait until tomorrow before deciding if I should return it. Maybe adding a load to the pack will make a difference.
Very good value for money. The camera compartment easily accommodates my camera, an 18/200 zoom, a 100/400, various filter accessories, a remote control, and a charger. Used on day hikes without any pain or discomfort. Plenty of pockets for papers, a raincoat, water bottle storage, and more. Zip to access the camera compartment without having to remove the backpack.
A very good bag, but it has a very, very short lifespan... The zippers started to fail me in just a few months... And of course the entire bag is guaranteed EXCEPT the zippers!! A shame for me, a shame
On first use, one of the fasteners has already come loose. Not very practical and not very sturdy.
Very good quality bag but very large
30L backpack with plenty of space and different compartments. Very good for photography or short/medium-length trips.
A great bag that can compete with much more expensive brands! Great value for money with compartments for the camera, lenses, but also for a tablet, a water bag, etc.
I came across this backpack by accident in a brick-and-mortar store a few months ago. I didn't even know that Decathlon introduced a camera backpack to its offer. I have been looking for a universal camera backpack for some time now, which would have a compartment for "non-photographic" things, and this one is not only reasonably priced, but also best meets my expectations (including the fact that, unlike most items on the market, it does not scream "I am a camera backpack, steal my contents". I hunted for it for a long time, sometimes it appeared in the online store, sometimes it disappeared. It is very comfortable, the back is not as soft as in the case of some other backpacks from this manufacturer, although it could be a bit stiffer. Similarly, the bottom could be better stiffened. A definitely bigger disadvantage is the small side opening, the camera is really difficult to take out, and I have a mirrorless camera and it is rather of the medium size. The compartment inside could have a slightly thicker wall to better protect the equipment. In my opinion, it is worth introducing a wider selection of photo inserts (so that there are two or three sizes to choose from), so that everyone can better adapt the backpack to their needs. If a smaller version were offered, preferably without a hip belt or with a detachable one, and the side opening was improved, I would almost certainly go for it.
I'm being very strict about how do I attach my cameras to my Peak Design attachments? So I'm forced to buy an additional harness or tinker with an attachment, otherwise I risk dropping both of my cameras attached to the shoulder straps. How is it possible that Decathlon forgot this essential item, unless I couldn't find the attachment designed for this purpose? And you'll be happy to help me. Too bad, because this bag is really great because the space between the nylon reinforcements is 3cm, and the Peak Design Capture Clip is 4cm. Plus, the smartphone pocket prevents the use of a second Capture Clip.
Very practical for storing everything, correct size. Rain cover
