I use these for walking my dog, protects me from muddy dogs/walks/muddy puddles. I wear thermals underneath and use as an outer trousers for weatherproof walks. I bought these trousers recently and had a chance to test them on a rainy and windy day at the seaside. They kept my jeans completely dry, kept me warm by blocking the wind, just brilliant! Also, you can put them on without taking shoes off, which is great when you're out and about. Bear in mind the fabric is thin so I wouldn't test them in any undergrowth. I couldn't be more pleased I bought them and will be buying one more pair

This product is designed for hikes lasting several hours while walking at a pace of no more than 5km/h.During sports activity, the extent to which we perspire depends on the intensity or the duration of the physical effortIf the fabric's breathability isn't suited to the type of activity/exercise your perspiration will condense inside jacket.You will feel damp insideIt is not rain coming through but perspiration vapour condensing You need to choose over-trousers in line with your activity type.
