No problem for moderate trails. Although they're not high-top, they still provide plenty of ankle support. I used to have higher-top pairs and barely noticed a difference. They have plenty of grip underfoot, although I haven't tried them in heavy rain.
It is warm enough for transitional weather and mild winters, comfortable, lightweight, and water-repellent.
Comfortable and really waterproof. It was a very good choice for short hikes, although it didn't stick as well in colder weather.

bought for my wife. tested for a whole week of trekking (sometimes even 4/5 hours) up to 2,000 meters (summer period so I can't express an opinion on the waterproofness). the shoe behaved quite well, no problems whatsoever
Durable, good cushioning. They are great for trips on various routes.
We bought them almost at the same time with a friend, mine came unstuck in the 4th position and hers were coming unstuck too. I didn't return them because I had to wait a long time. I live in a city where there is no physical store.

Waterproof, comfortable, easy to pull on and hold well around the ankle, thanks to the quilted part. They could only have a wider toe, but that's a problem with all shoes. Still satisfied.
I bought these shoes during my 5-month trip to Asia. They've been through it all and are still going strong after that trip! Waterproof, with a beautiful design, a little high, they are perfect for hiking, for mud, rain and are very comfortable.
Waterproof and keeps my teenage son's feet warm in UK rainy winter weather of 0 to 10 degree Celsius. Will be better if can improve on cushioning and also reduce weight of women shoes further. Men waterproof shoes are too heavy for him, hence he chose women waterproof shoes which are slightly lighter in order to run and catch trains when overseas. He also put extra insoles to give himself more cushion and comfort.
The boot itself is great, however, I bought the boot in relation to the size chart that was available on the website, however, when I arrived, I noticed that the boot was big, because according to the size chart it was recommended to buy a larger size. If you are going to buy it, if your foot is not wide, it is worth getting the usual size that you usually wear. DO NOT GET A SIZE BIGGER, and I did not base it on the sizes on the website, my own experience.

Why do the soles of the nh100 mid wp f hiking shoes offer good grip on walking trails?
Designed in our laboratories, we use a special rubber formulation to optimize the grip and traction of this sole. We systematically research the best compromise to progress on muddy ground (grip) as on dry ground (traction).
Designed for hiking use
Our hiking boots are designed for use on hiking trails. Indeed, we choose the components of the sole and upper of our boots and test them to ensure that they are ideally suited to walking on loose trails (e.g. unpaved forest paths) or rocky trails (e.g. rocky coastal paths). Road use (tarmac) may lead to premature wear on your boots and cause discomfort. They are not suitable for mountain walking.
Waterproofing test
Laboratory- and field- tested, these shoes have a membrane to ensure optimal waterproofing and breathability. First, the shoe is immersed in water while internal air pressure is applied to check that no bubbles form on the surface of the footwear. Next, shoes are fitted to a mechanical arm that simulates walking and half immersed in water so we can test that the inside remains perfectly dry.
Measuring waterproofness
The NH100 Mid WP boots are waterproof for 2 hours of hiking. They have been laboratory tested for 2,000 flexes. Once the boots have dried out, they are waterproof once again.During the waterproofness test, we test 3 levels of waterproofness:- 2,000 flexes, approx. 2 hours hiking- 4,000 flexes, approx. 4 hours hiking- 8,000 flexes, approx. 8 hours hiking
How is the resistance of the nh100 mid wp f hiking shoes determined?
Laboratory tests were also conducted to test the following elements: tearing eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion resistance of outsole and upper components, accelerated ageing. These tests allow us to improve the quality of our products and prevent premature wear of our hiking shoes.
Extend the life of your boots
We advise that you use a waterproofing spray product on your shoes several times per year, to restore their water-repellent property and to prevent staining.
What socks should you wear with the quechua nh100 mid waterproof shoes?
These shoes are slightly breathable, but not enough to evacuate all humidity created by your perspiration. We advise you to choose Hike 100 Mid socks: they contain moisture-absorbing cotton and have a reverse terry-knit construction under the sock that wicks moisture away from your foot. They are also high enough to protect your ankle from the shoe. It is an excellent combination to reduce the chance of blisters.
