Product Customer Reviews
Quite heavy backpack, of very average quality: small, flimsy straps, small closures, zipper for access through the back that comes loose... Really bad comfort, poor balance, and ultra-thin waist strap... I do not recommend it
light narrow and lots of storage. Straps to secure just about anything. ideal size for an average build like me 1m78 72kg
Satisfied but not delighted. Lots of little tips and accessories, useful for the gear. But I would have appreciated a more comfortable carrying (adjustable shoulder straps, comfortable belt) for the approach marches...
Very practical and cleverly designed (access to the sc via the back)
The backpack is not particularly breathable, but it stands out for its convenient zippered opening on the back. I chose it mainly to carry my photographic equipment during trekking, appreciating the convenience of being able to quickly access the lenses without having to completely empty the backpack every time.
Comfortable backpack to carry and very versatile for use. Excellent as a backpack for long treks or crossings, long mountaineering routes, skiing, snowshoes, ...
Superb bag. I recommend it!
Used this bag during an alpine course. The bag is super versatile and your stuff is easy to reach. However, the carrying comfort of the bag is bad. The straps cut into the shoulders, the back is soft and offers no support. After wearing it for a long time, I got a lot of back pain.
Very good bag, too bad there is not at least one pocket on the sides. Slight rubbing on the tips of the shoulder blades during a good hike but otherwise very light and comfortable. The front pocket to put shovel/probe is a very good idea. Looking forward to using it on my ski outings.
backpack tested in the Tatras also during light but long rain, you can say that it fulfills its function but I bought Simond production and I expected something more, a friend had bought a backpack from Decathlon from Quechua with the same cut for one third of the price... Unfortunately, the backpack is not fully waterproof and even if it is not waterproof, it should have a cover that basic Salewa backpacks have. Maps that were put in the upper pocket obviously got wet... there is no even one side pocket to install a water bottle. OK now the pluses, I had a load of 12 kg, I walked a few days in a row, I had no abrasions.
Very spacious backpack with many options for attaching equipment to the outside.
sufficiently waterproof
light, compact, practical for hiking
The old waist belt is not at all suitable when the bag is loaded. I'm back from a week around Chamonix where I had bivouac, jammers, rope, etc. and the hip protection just kept turning inside out. So I ended the week with my hips sheared off. The modification of this belt on the new model seems more than logical. Apart from this problem, good product, well thought out and practical.
Very good backpack.
