Good first gravel

Bike used for 18 months and 3600km (travel, bike to work...). I quickly replaced the wheels with another model (freewheel with play and creaking, returns to after-sales service among my colleagues, I need reliability for traveling). Be careful, the Quick release system no longer seems to be the current standard (through), this limits the possibilities. The TRP hybrid brakes are passable (significant clearance at the levers is mandatory and not the efficiency and comfort of a fully hydraulic system). Rear derailleur replaced once (cage apparently slightly warped causing the tensioner roller to derail). The wheel arches are a little tight: in case of mud and with the original tires, it quickly rubs on the seat stays and the front fork. For the rest, everything works.

Excellent value for money

Ideal gravel bike, with an excellent quality-price ratio. Perfect for getting started.

I love it. This bike glides over the road like a penguin on an ice floe.

Overall very satisfied. Does what it promises.

Very robust bike, I have now tested it for about 500km and have also ridden on rough tracks. The gears had to be completely adjusted by myself. Disadvantage: You cannot attach a stand. There are no suitable recommendations when it comes to selecting additional components such as mudguards and the staff on site are overwhelmed. Had to return some things because they were incompatible.

Good 1st Gravel

I have only done 200 km for the moment but already good sensations. Effective on road and on path, even more mountain bike trails. I quickly installed SPD pedals to be more efficient. A few small adjustments to redo myself, but overall the reception of the bike is correct. Well advised by the seller

Gravel bike

Very good bike for beginners. Ultra light. The color leaves something to be desired. Allows you to ride on the road and some paths. Bought for my 18 year old son

Very good bike

A very good bike, nothing to complain about, however, do not hesitate to take it directly to the store's workshop. Indeed, the preparation of the bikes ordered is not good. My derailleur was not going at all. But the workshop of my decathlon put everything back in order, a nice and efficient team.

Best bike I've ever had.

Very convenient, very fast. In the windshield, I feel that it catches the wind better than it should. Anyway, the gears are very good, but the brake is the real king. It is very precise, very adjustable and has brutal braking power.

Very comfortable bike, comfortable with position and tires in 40 mm. Tested on road routes little difference in speed compared to my racing bike (aluminium 10 kg) Excellent value for money Prepared and delivered with care from the Frosinone shop

Then driven around 1000km. The sale itself in the store was slightly problematic, because the younger employee at the branch didn't really know how to assemble the bike and assign accessories to it, but that was eventually resolved. At first glance, the bike is quite good, comfortable ride, nice handlebars, after 130 km I'm out of it, or worse than it should be. It's nice that the bike looks really nice. At the same time, not too expensive so that someone doesn't steal it. The wide range of the transmission is also great, especially when it comes to the heavy ones. With the light ones, everything can be done on the road, but it is sometimes not enough for some slopes up a steep hill. During the first 1000 km, however, there were problems: The soul went out on gravel terrain, which happened to me shortly after the purchase with the second bike from the Decathlon. The next transition to tubeless is more complicated than I thought as a layman. My front brake sometimes rubs a little, without pressing it, it is not obvious how to tighten it. Hopefully it will be resolved during the garage inspection. On the front derailleur, the chain has a tendency to fall when engaged or shifted. It's about the price of two transmissions with vic gears. For riding on flatter terrain, it is better not to reach the front derailleur. All the extra things that you get for the bike are to be thrown away and it is better to buy new ones - lights, fenders, bell. I was already told that in the store. And practically - this bike has a relatively thick handlebar. If you're switching from an older bike like me, the old light sockets, holder, etc. will probably not fit the handlebars

Overall, I am happy with the bike - it provides great value. However, there are two issues I am experiencing with it which I am not satisfied, as follows: - the chain keeps falling off if and when peddling backward with the large cog in the front while the 1st cog (the largest one in the back cassette) in the back - the headlight is loose and will not stay on. It will fall off randomly even when riding on the road. I have not ridden on any gravel trail yet! I hope Decathlon will provide a resolution, especially with the defective headlight. I will be contacting them CS Team.

quality price

Looking at the prices and components of the competition, for me it has no rival. The adjustment of Decathlon is regular, I recommend disassembling and greasing, tightening and checking that the wheel is straight and the levers at least that they are even. I use it almost daily for work, going and coming back about 44km and on weekends. The brakes have to be broken in as at first they don't brake much, then with each ride you notice it, also adjust them so they don't rub. I haven't tubed it, I still use a tube, I haven't had a puncture yet, it has very good grip on the track and on asphalt you can notice the tread a little, but you move forward without much effort, watch the pressures. The gears have a good feel and the adjustment is good from one to the other you don't notice the jumps much and they are more natural, yes, its cassette is not Shimano nor the front sprockets, but I haven't noticed anything wrong with them. I really liked its development with its 32 front and 34 cassette, I go loaded with luggage racks and going uphill on paths and all the supplies to spend the day I have been able to climb well, I am a truck driver and I am not in very good physical shape... now after more than 10 years I am back in the game. Its comfortable seat is not for me, I changed it for an almost new Selle Italia that I had on the other cycle touring bike. Now I am better. My legs don't hurt. I also want to increase or change the stem, not much, about 2cm or 3 centimeters to go great, I am punished. Anyway, with more km if I remember I will give a second opinion. Pd: I tried the gravel rc120 of 800e on the first outing of 25km I knew it was not for me, I got this one on sale for 999 just for the brakes and that you can have more development and better gears, it was worth it.
