Any jacket that can survive the Welsh mountain rain deserves a top review! I've had a lot of very expensive waterproof coats that didn't perform as well as this one. It's still going strong 3yrs later and I wear it every day during Autumn-Spring for dog walking and hiking. It has never let the very heavy rain in and has great adjustable hood, sleeves and waist drawstrings to get a custom fit. Tip - If you've got a bust ladies, you'll need to go up a size. I'm a size 12 and was on the border of a size M to L so I wear the L as I don't like tight fitting jackets for activity. The only complaint I have is the inner liner could do with bigger zip up pockets to store essentials when wearing on it's own. It washes really well and for £99 I challenge anyone to find a better value 3 in 1 jacket! Please bring out some more colours Decathlon :-)

Beautiful, very waterproof jacket. The front closure isn't windproof, which is a shame when it's cold. It lacks a bit of flexibility. Good value for money.

3-in-1 concept for adapting to every situation
With its “3-in-1” system, the jacket is ideal for cold conditions (down to -10°C) as well as hot weather trips, as you can leave the inner layer at home, taking only the rain coat. You can also wear the inner fleece on its own as a mid-layer over a T-shirt. With just one jacket, you therefore get 3 options!
Component waterproofing of this jacket
The waterproofness of a fabric, provided by a coating or membrane, is measured in Schmerber or mm H²0 (pressure exerted by a column of water). The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric.
Waterproofness of this jacket
The waterproofness of a jacket isn’t limited to just its components: the assembly technique of the different parts is also an evaluation criterion.Whether heat-sealed or sewn then waterproofed, the overall waterproofness of your jacket is measured using a shower test developed by Decathlon, which simulates rain of different intensities.As such, the 3-in-1 SH500 waterproof jacket protects you from a storm, i.e. 30 cm of rain in 3 hours.
Removable padded jacket
The inner padded down jacket is quick and easy to remove, thanks to its zip system. It can be worn alone and has 2 hand pockets, as well as a secure inside pocket.
Outside jacket pockets
2 hand pockets. All pockets feature waterproof zips.
Adjustable hood
The hood is adjustable in height and depth thanks to an elastic drawcord. The storm-type hood is very enveloping and equipped with a preformed visor for maximum face protection.
Other adjustments
The bottom of the jacket is adjusted via an elastic cord. The end of the sleeves adjusts with a system of self-sealing bands.
Sizing information
Standard cut. The jacket's inner volume is designed to fit over a high-tech second layer such as a micro-fleece.
