Last week, we had the great honor of not only attending, but actually partaking in the WeWork Creator Awards. In case you aren't familiar, WeWork is a network of offices built around the world for entrepreneurs and businesses to congregate and have a community where they can work. The Creator Awards celebrate and acknowledge the many innovators and creators of the world, awarding prizes and funds to some of the most driven minds out there.
Through this process of recognition, WeWork nurtures a culture of creativity and the world of challenging status quo. This event enables, inspires and encourages creators globally to feel empowered, making their dreams come true. The evening began with a pop-up shop booths to kickstart the event, featuring businesses with fun and new ideas. It was here that we set-up our Decathlon booth, introducing attendees and San Franciscans to our dream vision of "Sports For All," with a full display demonstrating our expertise of every sport.
The ceremony then kicked off providing financial grants to business owners or "game-changers," followed by a great DJ set to celebrate the evening. We had a blast hearing other business ventures, and felt the excitement around the prospect of a new winner taking home pieces of the puzzle to bring their ideas to execution.

Decathlon was honored to be represented and we can't wait to keep bringing sports to the local community! Attendees were fascinated by the innovation of the Easybreath mask and our 10-year, $3.49 hiking backpack, among many others.
